Der Begriff Loop bezeichnet ein spezielles Sample, das so geschnitten ist, dass man es ohne Brüche mehrfach hintereinander abspielen kann. Loops sind vor allem Schlagzeugsamples, Begleitrhythmen, Basslinien oder kurze Melodiephrasen.
Samples und Effekte
Bei einem Audio-Sample handelt es sich um eine beliebig lange oder kurze Tonaufnahme. Ein Sample kann einen Musik-Ausschnitt, einen einzelnen Ton eines Instrumentes oder aber auch ein bis mehrere Geräusche enthalten.
Musik und Demo-Aufnahmen
Eine Demo ist eine manchmal nur auf einfachem Niveau hergestellte Aufnahme oder ein Ausschnitt eines Liedes. Demos werden gerne an Veranstalter und Plattenfirmen verschickt um ein Beispiel der angebotenen Musik zu vermitteln.

can use as many other choices with else if .. so is it sepposud to be limited with 3 else if statements? because notepad ++ doesn't allow it.. and neither does my browser..if I make a 4th else if then the else statement doesn't get highlighted..I use WAMP, other then that the TUT is awesome.

Hi Garrett – it depends on what you want to do. Are you’re a keyboard player and want to get into sound design, I would suggest Reason+Record for Mac or PC. There are a couple things that are missing that I’m hoping will come with future releases, such as channel grouping and VST/AU plugin support. But overall, I really enjoy the SSL-style mixer and the racks-full-of-gear user interface.If you want to move more towards professional engineering, I would suggest Logic Studio for Mac. Personal preference, but I prefer Logic over ProTools.If you want to do DJ stuff with mostly loops, and remixes of other people’s stuff I would suggest you start with Ableton Live for Mac or PC, though there are plenty who would argue that Live is really a Swiss Army Knife. I would recommend Pro Tools if you can afford it, if not go the Cubase route. It is widely used and is as powerful as Pro Tools. There are forums on the internet for Cubases users who will offer you tons of help learning it.
